Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Oratile Mothwa, a passionate and driven Journalism student at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). As a storyteller at heart, I'm excited to share my thoughts, experiences, and insights with you as I navigate the world of journalism and beyond. In this blog, I'll be sharing my personal stories, opinions, and also reflections on current affairs.

I'm a curious and creative individual with a passion for storytelling. Growing up in Seabe, South Africa, I was always fascinated by the power of words and the impact they can have on people's lives. I spent time hours writing poems, short stories, and just scribbling in my journal. When it came time to choose a career path, Journalism felt like the perfect fit.

As a student, I will embrace every opportunity to develop my skills and understanding of the industry. I would love to get internships at any local newspapers and radio stations anywhere around Pretoria, where I can have a chance to work with experienced journalists and learn about the various aspects of news gathering and reporting. I believe these real-world experiences would give me a taste of the fast-paced and dynamic nature of the media industry, and they would fuel my desire to pursue my career in Journalism. 

 I am also loving the fact that I have a keen interest in multimedia journalism. I loved taking pictures and videos for fun, but now, I am studying and practicing photography and videography, as I believe that visual storytelling can be just as powerful as written articles. I am excited about the ways in which technology is shaping the future of journalism, and I'm determined to stay ahead of the curve by refining my skills in various forms of multimedia.

My goal is to become a renowned journalist and a storyteller, using skills to make positive impact on society. I hope to inspire and inform people through my writing and storytelling, and a voice for those who need to be heard.

I'm still finding my voice and figuring out this whole blogging thing, but I'm excited to learn and grow with you. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
